In mid-November, EPIC participated in the Better Air Quality Conference in Manila, Philippines. The conference is a global convening for governments, organizations, and experts to come together to address the critical issues of air pollution and climate change across Asia. The theme of this year’s conference was “Ambition to Action” and was organized by Clean Air Asia, along with the Asian Development Bank and the Climate and Clean Air Coalition. In collaboration with Urban Emissions, EPIC held a booth to share its Air Quality Life Index tool, as well as discuss our new work exploring how to support local actors across the world in closing air pollution data gaps.
