On October 21, 2025, Christa Hasenkopf, Director of EPIC’s Clean Air Program, and Muhammad Omar Masud, Chief Executive Officer of The Urban Unit, in Pakistan, had a conversation on how they plan to integrate data from their recently deployed particulate pollution monitoring network into policies aimed at improving air quality. With 160 air quality monitors, this is the largest open, real-time air quality monitoring network in Pakistan.
